Yogi government's election-oriented budget: 140 crore for Ayodhya, big talk to attract farmers

Finance Minister Suresh Kumar on Monday unveiled the fifth budget of the Yogi government, which includes a number of announcements to attract farmers. Suresh Kumar presented a huge budget of Rs 5,50,270 crore in the House. The UP government's budget is focused on youth, farmers and women. Earlier, the UP budget 2021-22 was approved in a cabinet meeting chaired by Yogi Adityanath at the Chief Minister's residence on Monday morning.

Limit Purushottam Shriram Airport Ayodhya

The number of operational airports in Uttar Pradesh has increased from 4 to 7 in 3 years. The airport under construction in Janpad Ayodhya will be named Limit Purushottam Shriram Airport Ayodhya and a budget of Rs 101 crore has been proposed for it.

Preparations to expedite the Kanpur Metro Rail project

The estimated cost for the Kanpur Metro Rail project is Rs 11,076 crore. In the budget for the financial year 2021-22, Rs 597 crore has been allocated for the project.

Focus on Chitrakoot, Sonbhadra Airport

Rs 101 crore has been announced for the airport in Ayodhya. 2,000 crore for Jawar Airport. It also claimed to start operating air services at Chitrakoot and Sonbhadra airports in the year 2021.

Promotion of Ayurveda

The finance minister claimed that Ayurveda was being promoted. Work of Ayurveda schools is in progress in Lucknow-Pilibhit.

140 crore announcement for Ayodhya

The Finance Minister had proposed a provision of Rs 140 crore in the budget for the overall development of Ayodhya town, including the development of Suryakund in Ayodhya. Apart from that, Rs 50 crore has been announced for the construction of a national inspiration site in Lucknow.

50 crore for corona vaccination

Finance Minister Suresh Khanna announced that Rs 50 crore has been proposed for corona vaccination.

Budget for Ganga Expressway project

A budget of Rs 7,200 crore has been earmarked for land acquisition and Rs 489 crore for construction work of Ganga Expressway project. Apart from that, a budget of Rs 210 crore has been proposed for special schemes in the Bundelkhand region.

Plan for the conservation of Gauvansh

The Finance Minister informed about the ongoing schemes for the protection of Gauvansh and the construction of cowsheds at various places. At the same time it was assured that it would be increased.

The goal is to create one medical college in each district

The Yogi government has released the largest budget ever for the financial year 2021-22. Under this, the goal is to create a medical college in each district. Medical colleges are being set up in 16 districts and Rs 1,000 crore has been proposed for medical education.

Committee for equal pay for women workers

The Finance Minister announced the Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana in which workers will be helped. An advisory committee has been constituted to ensure equal pay for women workers. Atal residential schools will be set up in 18 congregations in the region where the children of the workers will be educated.

40 hostels will be built

40 hostels will be set up in 19 districts of the region and books will also be made available. Chambers for lawyers will also be set up in various districts.

Gift of Sports University to Meerut

The UP government has announced to set up a sports university in Meerut. In addition, open gyms will be set up in rural areas.

Area of ​​mass marriage plan

The finance minister announced that the mass marriage scheme would be expanded. At the same time, under the Mukhyamantri Suposhan Yojana, additional nutrition will be given to malnourished children at Anganwadi centers.

Gurukul system in Sanskrit schools

Sanskrit schools will be run according to Gurukul system. Students will be provided free hostel and meals.

Big announcement for farmers

High yielding crops in the region will be identified. Agricultural production associations will be set up at the block level and Rs. 100 crore will be provided for that. Rs 700 crore will be provided to farmers for free water facility and loans will also be made available at nominal rates.
