Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of Suheldev's memorial

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today laid the foundation stone of a 4.20 meter high statue of the great warrior Raja Sahaldev of Srivastava through video conferencing. Apart from that, the Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone of development works of Chittaura Lake. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was also present on the occasion.

The project includes installation of a statue of Maharaja Suheldev on a horse, cafeteria, guest house and various tourist facilities like children's park. Maharaja Suheldev is said to have killed Syed Salar Ghazi, the general of Muhammad Ghaznavi in ​​the 11th century. Maharaja Suheldev's identity is to defeat the Muslim invader.
