Prime Minister could not understand the difference between a patriot and a traitor: Priyanka Gandhi

- Farmers have not paid the arrears of sugarcane, took an airplane worth Rs 16,000 crore for themselves

Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Monday addressed a farmers' mahapanchayat in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. In her address, Priyanka said, "People have chosen Prime Minister Narendra Modi twice because people must have had some expectations from him. He often talked about employment, farmers but now nothing is happening in his regime."

Targeting the Prime Minister, Priyanka Gandhi said that the price of sugarcane has not gone up since 2017. The Prime Minister has not paid the farmers the arrears of sugarcane but has bought airplanes worth Rs 16,000 crore for himself. With the new law brought by the Modi government, businessmen can hoard.

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi further said that with this, people will now be able to open their mandis and taxes will be levied in government mandis. Getting MSP in private markets will stop. At the same time, it will be up to the industrialists to decide whether to harvest or not. The new laws will only benefit the industrialists and nowhere will the farmers be listened to.

Furthermore, it is obvious to everyone that 2-3 people are benefiting from the calculation. Prime Minister Modi can go to America, China and Pakistan but cannot meet the farmers sitting in Delhi. Prime Minister Modi has ridiculed the farmers and called them agitators. Modiji did not understand the difference between a patriot and a traitor.
