Good news for Modi government before budget, GST collection reaches record level

There is good news for the economy before the budget is presented. The Finance Minister said that GST collection of Rs 1,19,847 lakh crore has been made till 6 pm on Sunday, January 2021. Gross GST revenue in January 2021 was Rs 119,847 crore, including CGST Rs 21,923 crore, SGST Rs 29,014 crore, IGST Rs 60,288 crore and cess Rs 8,622 crore. While the total number of file GSTR-3B returns till December 31, 2021 is 90 lakh. In the month of January 2021, the Central and State Governments received a total revenue of Rs 46,454 crore for CGST and Rs 48,385 crore for SGST after regular settlement.
