Plan to start sea plane service on four other routes in the country after Gujarat

Sea plane service has been started from Ahmedabad to reach the Statue of Unit in Gujarat. The central government now plans to launch a similar service in other parts of the country.

PM Modi launched the Sea Plane service from the Sabarmati River front last October. Now the country's shipping ministry has sought proposals from companies to start sea plane service on the second route. These include Delhi to Jaipur, Delhi to Udaipur, Delhi to Jodhpur and Delhi to Badrinath routes.

Apart from this, the UP government is also considering starting service from Delhi's Yamuna river front to Ayodhya. Sea plane service may be started on these routes under the flight scheme. As a result, ticket prices will be affordable.

Currently 15 seater aircraft are being used for sea plane service from Ahmedabad to Kevadia. A similar plane is likely to be used on the second route.
