Delegation reached Ghazipur border

On Thursday, a delegation of leaders of the opposition reached the Ghazipur border to hold talks with farmers. The leaders of the delegation were stopped at the Delhi border and were not even allowed to meet the protesters. Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur, who was included in the delegation, said that barricades have been set up for 3 km. We can’t meet the farmers. 13 level barricading has been done. Apart from Kaur, the delegation includes NCP MP Supriya Sule, DMK MP Kanimozhi and TMC MP Saugat Roy.

Security has been beefed up in Ghazipur following violence in Delhi during a tractor rally on Republic Day. The administration has also taken strict measures to stop them from entering Delhi. The Ghazipur Board has erected barricades of grass and cement. Apart from that, wires have also been laid on the border, which means you can't cross the Delhi border even on foot.
