The Indian Army's counter-terrorism operation in Jammu and Kashmir is ongoing and once again the security forces have had great success in this operation. The army found a large quantity of weapons in the dense forests of Reasi district which have been confiscated.

The Indian Army and the Jammu and Kashmir Police conducted a joint operation on February 17 and 18 in which a large quantity of arms was seized. Security forces were informed of some suspicious activity on the evening of February 17 so the operation was launched. During the operation an AK-47 rifle, SLR rifle, 303 rifle, 2 pistols with magazine, 4 UBGL grenades, AK-47 cartridges and a box of radio set were found.

In this regard, 7 officers of Jammu and Kashmir SOG and Special Police Officer (SPO) are on the radar of a new terrorist organization in the valley, which has led to a security alert by the intelligence agencies. According to the agency, a new militant group called Kashmir Liberation Warriors posted a threatening letter to the Jammu and Kashmir Police on the Telegram app last month in the Shaheed Naiku Media Group.
