ISRO launches first New Year mission, launches 19 satellites, including Amazon

ISRO has succeeded in its first mission of the year 2021. ISRO has launched PSLV-C51 from Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh at 10.24 am on Sunday. PSLV-C51 has taken Amazonia-1 and 18 other satellites into space.

According to a statement issued by ISRO, PSLV-C51 is the 53rd mission of PSLV. The rocket also sent 18 other satellites into space, along with Brazil's Amazonia-1 satellite. What is special is that this time apart from the satellite, an electronic copy of the Bhagwat Gita has also been sent into space.

According to ISRO, the rocket was launched from Harikota. The PSLV-C51 was launched on February 28 at 10.24 am. Amazonia-1 has been successfully launched into its orbit. According to ISRO, Amazonia-1 will provide remote sensing data to the user for monitoring forest deforestation in the Amazon region and analysis of various crops for Brazil. At the same time, it will strengthen the existing structure.
