India grants citizenship to 64 people who left Pakistan fed up with atrocities

Atrocities against minorities are not a new thing in Pakistan. As a result, many people are coming to India out of boredom. India has now granted citizenship to 64 such Pakistani nationals.

According to the details received, he was given citizenship in Indore city of Madhya Pradesh. He had been living in Indore for some time and had also applied for citizenship before the government. Finally, after the Home Department gave the green signal, now his citizenship has been granted.

"We lived in the Sindh province of Pakistan. We came to India 13 years ago as victims of atrocities against minorities there. We lived here as refugees," they said.

Although it was sad not to get Indian citizenship, for the whole 13 years we have been feeling as if we have got a new life by becoming citizens of India. The 64 citizens also thanked the government and the district administration for their citizenship.
