Two youths from Lucknow have laundered crores of rupees to an e-commerce company. Police have seized more than Rs 1 crore from the accounts of the two accused, which they earned from fraud. In Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh, two hackers have taken advantage of the flaws in the websites of the country's leading e-commerce companies and laundered crores of rupees. The youths were studying computer application in Lucknow.

In the interrogation after the arrest, both the youths said that they first got the information of the bug on the websites of the e-commerce companies and then they reduced the price of anything through the bug. For example, if there is a mobile worth Rs 10,000 in the site of an e-commerce company, the price would be reduced to Rs 10 or Rs 100 by a bug and then they would place an order. Who immediately canceled the order and recovered the original price from the company. All of this would happen in a very short time so the company wouldn't even notice. Both the accused have pleaded guilty.

In this case, police chief Pradip Gupta said that both the accused were first downloading the app through Android mobile and using the app, they had hacked the sites of different companies. After hacking the site, the hackers bought the product at a lower price and when the item was delivered, they returned the goods as bad and demanded an increase in the actual value of the goods to their account.
