Food donor's chakkajam: Delhi Police equipped with 40,000 personnel deployed in the capital

Farmers in the capital have announced a strike from 12 noon to 3 pm today over the central government's agricultural law. With the central government's repeal of the three agricultural laws and the MSP's guarantee, farmers in Delhi are planning to go on strike once again today.

The Delhi Police has deployed more than 40,000 security personnel, including local police, following a farmers' rally in the national capital. Apart from that, 12 metro stations in Delhi have been kept on alert.

Paramilitary forces have been deployed in different areas of Delhi-NCR, including the Delhi border, to help the Delhi Police maintain law and order amid the farmers' chakkajam call.
