Farmers leave: Food giant's jam in several states including Punjab-Haryana

In Delhi NCR, iron security has been put in place following the farmers' chakka jam. The Loni border in Ghaziabad is being monitored by drones. About 50,000 Delhi Police, Para Military Force and Reserve Police Force personnel have been deployed to handle the situation.

Security has been beefed up at the Delhi-Ghazipur border following a farmers' strike. In the meantime a notice has been written on barricading. On which it is written that farmers are not allowed to enter. Police have increased the police force at the barricading with an order not to proceed from here at the border.

Chakkajam on Jammu-Pathankot Highway

Farmers have blocked roads in many states of the country in the wake of farmers' strike against agricultural laws. Ranchi and Kolkata highways have been affected by farmers' traffic jams. Apart from that, farmers also protested in Parwal, Haryana. Farmers also jammed the Jammu and Pathankot highways.

Delhi Police on alert mode

Police have also become alert following the announcement of Chakkajam across the country following the farmers' agitation. Some time ago, Delhi Police Commissioner SN Shri Vastav reached Shahidi Park and got quality information about security preparations. At the same time, there are rumors of closure of metro stations in Delhi. Khan Market and Nehru Place Metro Station have also closed the entry and exit gates.

Earlier, the entry and exit gates of 8 metro stations have been closed. These include the Red Fort, the Jama Masjid, the Janpath and the Central Secretariat, as well as the University. In a tweet this morning, the DMRC had instructed to close the entry and exit of ITO and Mandi House and Delhi Gate.

Capital transferred to Abheda Fort

More than 50,000 security personnel, including local police, have been deployed in the capital following the farmers' strike. Apart from that, 12 metro stations in Delhi have been kept on alert. Paramilitary forces have been deployed in different areas of Delhi-NCR, including the Delhi border, to help the Delhi Police maintain law and order amid the farmers' chakkajam call. The drone is constantly being monitored.
