Farmer agitators in Punjab stop shooting of Bobby Deol's film, riot on set

Farmers in Punjab are most outraged over the new agricultural law. While farmers here have been agitating for the last two months, the anger of farmers is also affecting the shooting of films taking place in Punjab.

A group of farmers has stopped the shooting of Bobby Deol's film in Punjab. While the members of the unit were preparing for the shooting, a group of farmers reached the set and threatened to pack up and leave.

Farmers say that shooting of Bollywood films should not be allowed till the government takes a decision on the issue of farmers' movement. Because farmers believe that Bollywood is not supporting this movement. On the other hand, Bobby Deol's brother Sunny Deol is an actor and a BJP MP and the farmers say that Sunny Deol is not supporting the movement.

Earlier, the farmers had also stopped shooting for Jahnavi Kapoor's film and demanded that the shooting not take place unless Jahnavi Kapoor made a statement in support of the farmers. Now it's Bobby Deol's turn to be the victim of farmers' anger. Given the attitude of farmers, it seems that it will be difficult for Bollywood to shoot in Punjab.
