Petrol and diesel prices in India are skyrocketing. Due to rising prices, petrol has hit a century in some parts of India. Today, the price of petrol in Mumbai has crossed Rs 97 per liter.

However, there are some countries in the world where petrol is cheaper than we can believe. Venezuela is the first country in South America to produce it. It also produces crude oil and is the cheapest petrol in the world. The price of a liter of petrol is only Rs 1.5.

Iran is the second largest supplier of crude oil to India. The price of petrol in this country is Rs 4.50 per liter. Large scale production of crude oil is done here.

In an African country called Angola, petrol is cheaper than a bottle of mineral water. A bottle of mineral water usually costs Rs 20 and here the price of petrol is Rs 17.82.

Algeria ranks fourth in terms of cheap petrol. It is also an African country and is close to Europe's water border. The price of petrol here is Rs 25.15 per liter.

In Kuwait, a crude oil producer, a liter of petrol costs Rs 25.25. There are also large crude oil reserves.
