Education Budget 2021-22: 100 new soldier schools to be built in the country, Central University gifted to Ladakh

- Declaration of the Higher Education Commission, for which the law will be amended

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is presenting the budget on Monday. The budget is expected to provide relief to the common man suffering from the Koro epidemic, as well as increase health tensions with health services, infrastructure and neighboring countries, and the government is expected to focus on advancing economic reforms by spending more on defense.

Important announcements have also been made by the Finance Minister for the important facility of health and education especially for the common man. As far as the education sector is concerned, an important announcement has been made in the budget this year regarding education.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaram has approved the National Education Policy in Budget 2021-22. He said about 100 new soldier schools would be built within the country. For which the help of private sector will also be taken.

The finance minister also announced the formation of a higher education commission during his budget speech. He said the law would also be amended for him. Apart from this, the finance minister has also announced the creation of a central university in Leh, Ladakh.

Apart from this, 758 Eklavya schools will be set up in the tribal areas of the country. Rs 758 crore will be spent on each of these schools. Besides, as stated in the budget, scholarships of Rs 35,000 crore will be given to the Scheduled Castes. Which will benefit four crore students.
