Earlier, the budget was a vote bank account, we did not impose any tax: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday inaugurated the centenary celebrations of the historic Chauri Chaura incident of the freedom struggle. This is being planned in all the districts of Uttar Pradesh. PM Modi joined the event through video conferencing. Meanwhile, PM Modi in his address lauded the recently unveiled general budget and said that our government has not imposed any new tax on anyone.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that earlier the government used the budget as a vote bank account and only announced it as needed. Experts were saying that this time the government would impose heavy taxes on the common people because of the Koro crisis but our government has not announced any new taxes.

Regarding farmers, PM Modi said in his address that farmers were also taken care of within the budget and funds were given to strengthen mandis. It has been decided to connect about one thousand mandis with e-names. PM Modi said that the agriculture sector contributed to the progress of the country without stopping during the Koro crisis.

What is special about the budget?

In his address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that now the country is trying to ensure that treatment is provided in every village and town so that one does not have to flee to the city for every minor or major ailment. Not only this, with the help of this program big decisions have been made in the cities.

In his address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the infrastructure fund for rural areas has been increased to Rs 40,000 crore. This will directly benefit the farmers of the country. All these decisions will make our farmer self-reliant. Will make agriculture a profitable trade.

It is to be mentioned that next year will mark the centenary of the Chauri Chaura incident. The UP government has already started the celebrations. The program will be held in every district of the region during this time. Which has been inaugurated by PM Modi.
