Completion of Donation Campaign: Donation of Rs. 2100 crore received for Ram Mandir

New delhi date. 28 February 2021, Sunday

People are giving generously for the magnificent Ram Mandir temple to be built in Ayodhya. Saturday was the last day of the campaign for the last 44 days and Rs 2,100 crore has been received from across the country for the Ram temple.

When the campaign was launched on January 15, it was estimated that a donation of Rs 1,100 crore would be made through the campaign, but the flow of donations has been such that Rs 1,000 more has been deposited than expected. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirth Kshetra Trust says that Happily participated in the campaign and donations for the temple have also come from the hinterland villages of India.

He said that more than Rs 2,100 crore has been deposited and it may happen that more than the cost of construction of the temple and its premises has been donated.

If this situation arises, the saints of Ayodhya have suggested that if the amount increases after the construction of the temple, development works should be carried out in Ayodhya. The trust should build a Sanskrit University in Ayodhya in the name of mother Sita. Other temples can also be rebuilt with the increased amount.
