You stop the law that we took action ... Supreme Court slams Modi government over agriculture law

New delhi date. 11 January 2021, Monday

Today is the 47th day of the agitation started by the farmers with the demand to withdraw the new agricultural law of the Modi government. Meanwhile, a petition was heard in the Supreme Court today regarding the farmers' agitation. In which the Supreme Court slammed the Central Government.

Criticizing the central government, the apex court said, "We have not received a single argument or petition that the law is very good." We are not experts in the case of farmers but you stop these laws that we take action.? The situation is constantly deteriorating, people are dying and sitting in the cold, who will arrange food and drink there?

Farmers have been demanding the repeal of the law for the last 47 days. There have been 8 rounds of talks between the government and the farmers but no agreement has been reached on the agricultural law.

The Supreme Court said the farmer wants to withdraw the law while the government wants to talk on issues. We will form a committee now and we will stay on the implementation of the law until the committee talks continue. "We propose to form a committee to settle the issue of farmers," the apex court said. We also propose a stay on the implementation of the law, on which anyone who wants to make an argument can do so.

Expressing displeasure over the attitude of the government, the Chief Justice said that no government can stop the agitation. The government has told the court that it cannot ban any law in this way, in this case the court said that we are very upset with this attitude of the government, and we are preparing to stop this law. Now the farmers will report their problems to the committee. The Supreme Court will take important steps today.

"We are unhappy with the way the government is handling the matter," the chief justice said. We don't know what you did before you passed the law. The last hearing also said about the conversation, what is happening? "We are disappointed with the way the process is going," Chief Justice SA Bobde told the government. We do not know what the government is talking about with the farmers. Also asked, can agricultural law be suspended for a while? "Some people have committed suicide," the chief justice said. The elderly and women are involved in the movement. What's going on? Not a single application has been received calling the agricultural law good.
