We will consider joining hands with JD (U): Rabbi Devi boasted

- There is no political crisis, Nitish Kumar clarified

Patna 2nd January 2021 Saturday

Former Bihar Chief Minister and Lalu Yadav's wife Rabdi Devi said that what the BJP did with JD (U) in Arunachal Pradesh could happen here in Bihar as well. Two days ago, Lalu's son Tejaswi Yadav claimed that 17 JD (U) MLAs were ready to join us.

In Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, angered by the BJP's ousting of six or seven JD (U) MLAs, angrily said, "I don't want to be the Chief Minister of Bihar. You have slandered someone else." Seizing the opportunity immediately, Tejaswi Yadav claimed that even so, 17 JD (U) MLAs were ready to join us as they were annoyed with the BJP. If Nitish Kumar accepts me as the Chief Minister, then RJD is ready to make Nitish Kumar the Prime Ministerial candidate in the next parliamentary elections.

Rabbi Devi then claimed that what the BJP did in Arunachal Pradesh could happen in Bihar, meaning that we can overthrow Nitish Kumar's government by ousting JD (U) members. In this context, Nitish Kumar said that there is no political crisis in Bihar. Rabbi insisted that Nitish Kumar's chair was in danger. JD (U) MLAs come to meet us. If Nitish Kumar wants, he can form an alliance with us again.

However, accustomed to such a referendum, Nitish Kumar said in no uncertain terms that his government was stable and there was no political crisis. Nitish Kumar, who had earlier teamed up with Lalu Yadav, is not tempted to join the RJD.

Addressing her party workers to provoke Nitish Kumar, Rabbi Devi said that now the BJP government is running in Bihar and not Nitish Kumar's. Nitish Kumar should join hands with RJD to defeat the BJP. He said Nitish Kumar needed to understand the fact that the BJP could run a crooked move like Arunachal Pradesh in Bihar. However, Nitish Kumar was not caught in the trap of Rabdi Devi.
