We will be agitating here till Holi

-However we rely on the Supreme Court

-Farmer leaders claim, if the government believes, well, otherwise ...

New Delhi Dt. 12 January 2021 Tuesday

The agitation by farmers against the new agricultural law framed by the central government on the border of the capital New Delhi entered its 48th day today. At that time, some farmers had declared that if the government believes in withdrawing the agricultural laws, then we will continue the agitation here till Holi.

However, today the Supreme Court is to give its order on the issue. On Monday, the Supreme Court said the government should understand. If the government does not understand, we will have to issue a stay order against the implementation of the agricultural law.

In fact, tent camps have been set up on the border of Delhi, langars (communal kitchens) can be set up for thousands of people to eat, Kisan Mall is buzzing, tea and water are served in the morning and evening. The only natural barrier is the extreme cold. This winter has been much harsher than expected.

Dozens of rounds of negotiations have passed between the farmers and the government. Farmers are the only ones who insist on repealing the law. The government does not agree on the issue. The government has its own logic behind this. Repeal a law once and then repeat the law every time such a tragedy occurs. The government is not ready to take such a risk. Farmers on the other hand say that we are ready to extend this movement till Holi. Fifty people i.e. farmers have been killed so far. This includes the suicides of Sant Baba Ramsingh and some other farmers.

Meanwhile, Indian Farmers Union leader Rajveer Singh Jadoo said, "Our last hope is the Supreme Court." We expect the Supreme Court to take concrete steps in the interest of the farmers, but the central government is not ready to bow down. Should, what the Supreme Court says today.

Meanwhile, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi tweeted that the government was too stubborn on the issue of farmers. Farmers understand the mentality of the government and say that first of all withdraw the agricultural laws. Then another thing.
