UN Security Council calls on India to suspend uranium enrichment

- Helped Pakistani terrorists

New Delhi Dt. 12 January 2021 Tuesday

Despite its maneuvers on the Ladakh border, China was carrying out a conspiracy to harass India in another way.

China was conspiring to prevent India from chairing a subcommittee of the UN Security Council. Jaish-e-Muhammad's leader, Masood Azhar, was declared an international terrorist and China turned brown.

Despite China's tireless efforts, India succeeded in declaring Masood an international terrorist. Since then, China has been constantly trying to suffocate India in the UN.

China has launched a campaign to prevent India from chairing a subcommittee of the UN Security Council to take action against terrorists.

From January 1, India became a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council. India also got the chairmanship of the Counter Terrorism Committee and the Taliban and Libya Committee. But China did its best to prevent India from chairing the crucial Al Qaeda sanctions committee.

This is the same committee that imposed sanctions on international terrorists Masood Azhar, Hafiz Syed and Lashkar-e-Taiba. At present, China is the only country in the committee that has prevented India from chairing the committee.

Earlier too, China had repeatedly sided with Pakistan against India's efforts to stop Masood Azhar an international terrorist. After the terrorist attack in Pulwama in 2019, India, with the help of the US, France and Britain, declared Masood Azhar an international terrorist.

According to a reliable source in one of the five permanent members of the UN Security Council, China has been pushing for India to be barred from chairing the Al Qaeda sanctions committee. The formation of the committee was delayed due to China's intransigence.

This will be the first time that the Taliban sanctions committee and the Al Qaeda sanctions committee will be chaired by different countries due to China's opposition. Next year, India will chair the Counter Terrorism Committee. India will currently chair the Taliban Prohibition Committee and Norway will chair the Al Qaeda Prohibition Committee.
