Following the order given by the central government, the whole country will stop for 2 minutes on January 30.

On this day Mahatma Gandhiji passed away and every year this day is celebrated as Martyr's Day. However, this time the Central Government has ordered all the states to observe two minutes silence on this day in memory of those who sacrificed for the freedom of the country. Our Jawar is also kept closed.

As per the order of the Home Ministry, a two-minute silence will be observed on January 30 at 11 am and at the same time no work will be done and our work will not be done. He will be remembered by fire.

Where there is no such facility, the message will be conveyed in some other way. Earlier, it was customary to observe two minutes of silence every year but it was not strictly observed. This time, the government has decided to implement it nationwide.

On the same day in 1948, Gandhiji was assassinated by Nathuram Godse.
