Rakesh Tikait's reaction after PM Modi's statement: PM to have dialogue between farmers and government

New delhi date. 30 January 2021, Saturday

In the all-party meeting, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that there is only one phone gap between the farmers and the government, they can talk at any time. Reacting to Prime Minister Modi's remarks, Indian Farmers Union spokesperson Rakesh Tikait thanked him. Tikait said he was grateful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for taking the farmers into account. At the same time, Rakesh Tikait said that the Prime Minister should hold a dialogue between the government and the farmers.

Rakesh Tikait said that the tears I had were also the tears of the farmers. We will not allow the government to bow down, nor will we allow the farmers to bow down. If our people are stoned then the farmers are the same and the tractors are also there.

So the farmer leader Shivkumar Kakka has also reacted to this statement of the Prime Minister. When asked if he would talk to the government, he said he would talk to the government as needed. If they are at a distance of one phone, then we are only at a distance of one ring. We'll reach out when they ring. The problem must be solved through dialogue. We will not back down. We never refused to communicate. We welcome the Prime Minister's request for a conversation.
