Power company hits small factory with electricity bill of Rs 311 crore

Rajasthan's power company has set a new record for issuing incorrect electricity bills. There have been many cases of unpaid bills being billed by power companies, but Rajasthan's Jaipur Electricity Distribution Corporation Limited has hit a company with a bill of Rs 3.11 billion.

According to Rabita, Anita Sharma, owner of Diesel Power International in the industrial area, checked her factory bill and was blown away when she saw the amount written on it, as the bill was Rs 3.11 billion. The bill also mentioned what would happen.

When the news reached the power company, the company clarified that the bill was due to a defect in the computer. However, the new bill issued by the power company was also Rs 2.26 lakh. The factory manager says that my bill is usually Rs 22,000. The company has also struggled to issue a new bill.
