Anxious information found in a survey

New Delhi 22nd January 2021 Friday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's popularity has declined in South India and among Muslims, according to a survey.

According to a survey conducted by Karvi Insights Limited, a TV channel, Prime Minister Narendra Modi's popularity was the lowest in South India at 63 per cent. The Prime Minister and the ruling party, the NDA, were concerned that Muslims were still upset with his performance. Modi received a very low rating from Muslims compared to other comos and groups.

Carvey conducted a survey on the subject of Mood of the Nation. Even though Narendra Modi's leadership has been praised in border disputes with China, relations with Pakistan, Jammu and Kashmir, confrontation with the Corona, etc., the Prime Minister's popularity has waned in South India and among Muslims.

However, the survey acknowledged that the Hindutva agenda was very useful to the Prime Minister in coming to power for the second time. The support of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh was also involved. According to the survey, the two biggest achievements of the Modi regime were the Supreme Court's decision to build a Ram temple in Ayodhya and the repeal of Article 370 in Kashmir. Both these issues have long been on the agenda of the BJP and the Sangh Parivar.

The survey concluded that there is no immediate threat to the Modi government. According to experts, Modi's popularity is not determined by certain issues. In addition to repealing Article 370, things like the surgical strike in Balakot strengthened his image as a leader. However, only 38 per cent said that Narendra Modi should be the Prime Minister again. No further survey details were available.
