In Arunachal Pradesh we build in our area: Nafftai of China

Following media reports that China has built a 101-house village near the Arunachal Pradesh border, China itself has now publicly acknowledged the construction. However, the central government has remained silent on the issue.

"We have built in our area," the Chinese Foreign Ministry said in a statement. A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said of the village being built on the border with Arunachal Pradesh: "This is a very intuitive process, as we are building in our area." That is our area and we can build in it as we expect.

According to the Chinese Foreign Ministry, China has built in the Zhengnan area, which is part of Tibet. China has once again claimed that Arunachal Pradesh is part of the southern province of Tibet.

Even after China's statement, India's central government remained silent. Even though China has built a 101-house village near the Arunachal Pradesh border, why the government has not taken any action has also become a topic of discussion among the people.

The media report claimed that no human activity was observed at the site till August 26, 2019, but construction was observed there in November 2020. The Union Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement that the government would take further action after receiving a report on the matter.
