Corona's second period could be even tougher than before: WHO warns

Geneva, Ta. Thursday 14 January 2021

The world is now hoping for some relief from Corona. On the one hand, corona cases are declining, on the other hand, vaccination work has started in some countries. In India too, the vaccination process will start on January 16, two days later. The vaccine is being delivered in different cities of the country.

But in the meantime the World Health Organization has issued a warning. The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that a second Corona epidemic could be more difficult than the first. Michael Ryan, executive director of the World Health Organization's Health Emergency Program, says the second year of the Corona epidemic could be more difficult than ever on transmission dynamics.

“We’re going into another year,” Michael Ryan said in response to a question. Which could prove to be a more difficult year given the transmission dynamics and some of the issues. According to Johns Hopkins University, the World Health Organization declared the Covid-19 epidemic on March 11. So far, 9.21 crore people in the world have been infected with the virus and 19.7 lakh patients are undergoing treatment.
