An intelligence report has claimed that a conspiracy was hatched to carry out terrorist attacks in Delhi on January 8, which has led to increased security. The plot was reportedly carried out by organizations such as Khalistan and Al Qaeda. Posters of terrorists have also been released.

There are reports that terrorists may have taken advantage of the ongoing peasant agitation in Delhi to carry out the attacks, as well as trying to turn it into violence. "We have received input that the Khalistani organization and al-Qaeda could carry out any violent activities," said Siddharth Jain, ACP, Connaught Place, Delhi. As a result, we have taken some security measures and increased security in places where people gather more.

However, every year on August 15 and January 9, security is beefed up in Delhi and input on terrorist attacks is also received. Terrorist organizations have been trying to carry out attacks with these days in mind, but they have not been allowed to succeed as security has been beefed up. Security is also a major challenge for the police at present. Farmers are agitating on the borders of Delhi. And a large number have gathered, along with the farmers have also organized a tractor rally on the 9th.

Intelligence agencies have received reports that violence could be instigated by taking advantage of the peasant movement to infiltrate terrorists or extremists. "We have also released posters of wanted terrorists so that people can contact us if they have any information," said Delhi ACP Siddharth Jain. Delhi Police also held discussions with NCR police officials from other states.
