'Ban Facebook-WhatsApp': Demand of National Trade Organization

New delhi date. Monday, January 11, 2020

WhatsApp and its proprietary company Facebook have long been opposed in the United States. Opposition is now growing in India as well. The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) today demanded that the government ban WhatsApp and Facebook. The trade union made the demand before the Union IT Ministry.

WhatsApp now wants to share all the details of users except their chats with its parent company Facebook as per its new policy. That is why people's anger against WhatsApp-Facebook is increasing. Elon Musk, CEO and scientist-engineer at Tesla Motors, tweeted that the use signal. That means use the messaging app signal instead of WhatsApp.

Since then the users of the signal have been steadily increasing. Now Elon has also made it clear that we previously donated to the Signal Foundation and will continue to do so. Brian Act, one of the creators of WhatsApp, created the signal by getting fed up with Facebook's policy mess. The signal messaging app runs on donations.

CAIT has written to the central government that if Facebook gets all the information about its users in India, then it could be a threat to the country as well. WhatsApp's new policy is an intrusion into people's personal lives and also against the freedom granted by the Constitution of India, CITA officials said.

He further added that the new policy of Facebook-WhatsApp reminds us of the East India Company. The company came to trade in India and then ruled with grandeur. Now with the new policy, Facebook-WhatsApp has shown its true colors.

Signal also clarified by tweeting that we do not earn revenue through advertising. Therefore, users do not have to share data with the advertising companies. That's why we don't even collect data. It is not our intention to make money through advertising in the future.

WhatsApp-Telegram-Signal: What is the safest option?

Users have turned to the Signal Messaging app after WhatsApp's controversial policy. An app called Telegram is also popular and already in use. That is why Signal and Telegram are coming up as a strong alternative to WhatsApp. The CEO of Telegram considers his app superior, revealing that the data of WhatsApp users is secure. But technology experts present a comparison of the three apps, with Signal seeming to be the safest app. 100% privacy is not possible in the circumstances where the rest of the online services have to be used for free.

Facebook bows down against EU

WhatsApp-Facebook's new policy is to be implemented worldwide except 27 countries in Europe. The reason? Because of the EU's very strict rules on privacy. The grandfathering of giant companies like Facebook-Google-Apple-Amazon does not work in the European Union. The European Union has in the past imposed heavy fines on all major companies, including Google. Now if Facebook puts a condition that accept our policy or the app will be shut down, the European Union is ready to shut down services like Facebook and its WhatsApp immediately.
