New delhi date. 30 January 2021, Saturday

Union Home Minister Amit Shah's visit to Bengal has been canceled due to violence in a tractor parade and an explosion outside the Israeli embassy. West Bengal has assembly elections this year, which has heated up the political atmosphere there. Amit Shah's visit was planned in view of the elections, especially the leaders who had resigned from the TMC were to join the BJP in Amit Shah's presence.

If Amit Shah's Bengal tour was canceled then BJP has brought rebel leaders of TMC to Delhi. The Bengal BJP has sent TMC rebel leaders on a chartered plane to Delhi on Saturday afternoon. Among the leaders who flew from Kolkata at 4:10 pm on Saturday was former Bengal cabinet minister Rajiv Banerjee. He resigned from the post of MLA and TMC member only yesterday.

Also, Vaishali Dalmiya, MLA from Bally area of Howrah district, who was recently shown the way out of TMC. So are Pranib Ghoshal, MLA from Uttarpara area of Hooghly district, Rathin Chakraborty, former mayor of Howrah city, Partha Sarathi Chatterjee, former MLA from Ranaghat and actor Rudranil Ghosh.

It is now likely that all these rebel TMC leaders will join the official BJP at the BJP headquarters in Delhi today or tomorrow. Home Minister Amit Shah Pum will be present at the event. All these people will return tomorrow after joining the BJP and participate in a rally in Howrah, Bengal.
