A fire broke out in the show room of Harley Davidson, a foreign bike dealer in the Motinagar area, on Friday night in the capital New Delhi.

The fire is a bar on the upper floor of the building. Some young men and women were having a New Year's party there. The men were trapped in a bar above when a fire broke out at around 1.30am on Friday.

However, as soon as news of the fire was received, fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot and started efforts to control the blaze. Meanwhile, on hearing the screams of the teenagers upstairs, the fire brigade personnel rescued the teenagers who were having a party. The incident opened a poll claiming that the police and the Delhi Municipality had a strict curfew.

When the fire broke out in Harley Davidson's show room, there was also some plastic goods so the fire reached the store room of the show room. The fire spread further. Meanwhile, a curfew was imposed and four or five young women were trapped in a bar above the show room. At half past one in the night, the fire brigade rescued the young women.

However, it was not immediately clear whether the police took any action against the youths for violating the curfew.

No one was present in the show room as it was night time so there were no reports of injuries or casualties.
