Washington, Dec. 13, 2020, Sunday

Along with India, the peasant movement is now being supported by the Punjabi community in countries like the United States, Britain and Canada.

However, it is a matter of concern that in the wake of this movement, the traitorous elements demanding Khalistan are raising their demands. .

Sikhs living in various parts of the United States had earlier gathered in Washington for a rally that reached the Indian embassy. Anti-India banners and posters were displayed and Khalistan flags were flown.

Protesters near the statue of Gandhiji had pasted a poster on the statue. The group chanted anti-India slogans. Meanwhile, the Indian embassy termed the protests as hooliganism and raised the issue with the US State Department for not protecting the Indian embassy.

Meanwhile, the insulting statue of Gandhiji was unveiled in 2000 by the then PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee in the presence of US President Bill Clinton.
