The Defense Ministry on Thursday said it has approved a total of Rs 28,000 crore worth of defense deals with the Defense Acquisition Council to meet all other requirements, including weapons and equipment of the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. The defense purchase is being approved at a time when India and China are at loggerheads over the Line of Actual Control (LAC) near Ladakh.
