Record new Corona case in US, more than 3,000 deaths in 24 hours

A record 2,44,011 new cases of corona have been reported in the United States in the last 24 hours amid preparations for corona vaccination. In addition, more than 3,000 deaths have been reported in the United States in a single day due to corona.

The United States has reported an average of 209,000 corona patients in the last seven days, with an average of more than 2,400 deaths per day. Meanwhile, the first batch of Pfizer-Bioentech vaccine in the US will reach 50 states on Monday.

More than 1,08,000 Corona patients are currently hospitalized in U.S. hospitals, the highest since the onset of the epidemic. With this, the total number of corona cases in the United States has reached 1.56 crore while the death toll has crossed 2.93 lakh. Amid a raging corona epidemic in the United States, the Trump administration said Monday that more than 145 distribution centers in 50 states would be vaccinated.

The first batch of corona vaccines will arrive in 50 states on Monday, said Gustav Parna, head of vaccine operations at the Trump administration. The vaccine will be delivered at 425 centers on Tuesday and at 66 centers on Wednesday.

The U.S. agency has approved Pfizer-Bioentech and Modern vaccines for emergency use of the corona vaccine, giving priority to 16-year-olds and the elderly. The American system will buy 100 million more doses of the modern vaccine. The company said the dose would be provided to the government by the end of December.

In Russia, on the other hand, corona reports of 28,000 people have come positive in a single day and a further 488 patients have died. With this, the total number of corona cases in Russia has risen to 26,53,928 while the death toll has crossed 46,941. Germany has signaled a drastic lockdown from next week during the Christmas festivities as the Corona epidemic is on the rise in Europe.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said the center had agreed to take drastic action with state governments to prevent the Corona epidemic. From next Wednesday, all non-essential shops, services and schools will be closed till January 10. The number of people allowed to gather at Christmas Day gatherings has been reduced from 10 to five.
