-BJP on one side and Owaisi on the other

Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi's announcement to visit West Bengal sent shockwaves through the Trinamool Congress camp. Owaisi held discussions with leaders and activists of his West Bengal branch in Hyderabad on Sunday.
West Bengal Assembly elections are in 2021. Until now, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has called herself the savior of the Muslim minority. Now Owaisi’s visit had spread tension among his supporters. On the one hand, the BJP's pressure on Mamata is growing and on the other hand, the Owaisi group will now increase the pressure. Mamata is well aware of the fact that Owaisi, being a Muslim, can have a good influence on Muslim voters.
Mamata also understands the fact that West Bengal has a 27 per cent Muslim population so Muslim voters can make a good impression in the Assembly elections. It was easy to attack BJP leaders. Muslim voters were likely to be offended if Trinamool Congress men attacked Owaisi.
Owaisi also announced its decision to focus on assembly seats in Muslim-populated areas, so naturally Mamata's constituencies were more likely to be snatched. It also happens that the BJP gets caught up in the tug of war between Owaisi and the Trinamool Congress. The same happened in the recent Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections and in the Bihar Assembly elections.
With just six months to go before the West Bengal elections.
