The country's first driverless metro will run on the Delhi Metro's Magenta line. The metro will be given the green light by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 9. The Metro will be operated from the head office of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. The driverless metro will also run in the Pink Line after the Magenta Line.
This metro has been under testing for some time. After landing at all stages, the country's first driverless metro train will now officially run. The maximum speed of this metro will be 3 kilometers per hour and its operation speed will be 3 kilometers per hour.
After the central government had earlier given permission for a driverless metro, it was decided to run the metro line for 3 km between Bionical Garden and Janakpuri West.
