Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the ongoing farmers' agitation on the Delhi border, saying how many farmers still have to be sacrificed.

Another farmer died on Thursday after Saint Baba Ram Singh committed suicide twenty-four hours ago. Rahul Gandhi was speaking in this regard.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was going to Madhya Pradesh today to address a farmers' convention organized by the Madhya Pradesh government. Rahul was speaking on the eve of it. In Madhya Pradesh, the state government claimed that 23,000 gram panchayat farmers were to attend. Earlier, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar had clarified eight issues in a letter addressed to farmers.

"Tell me how many farmers you still have to sacrifice," Rahul Gandhi wrote on Twitter. When Sant Baba Ram Singh committed suicide, Rahul Gandhi tweeted that the Modi government had gone beyond cruelty.
