Half of India is hungry, people are dying from corona, Modi govt forms new parliament: Kamal Hassan

Recently, the foundation stone of the new Parliament House was laid by PM Modi. Now, South Indian film industry superstar Kamal Hassan has objected to this.

Kamal Haasan, who is campaigning for his political party for the 2021 Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu, has questioned the Modi government as to why thousands of crores of rupees are being spent behind the Parliament House when half of the country is starving. Why is the new Parliament building being given priority when people are falling asleep and dying due to corona?

Kamal Hassan further asked that thousands of people were killed when the world famous wall of China was being built and Chinese rulers said that the wall was being built for the protection of the people. ..PM Modi replies that for whose security a new parliament of Rs 1000 crore is being formed.

Kamal Haasan is active in Tamil Nadu politics and his party also contested the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. However, it did not win a single seat in Kamal Haasan's party.
