New delhi date. 09 December 2020, Wednesday

The Center has rejected a written proposal sent by the government to farmers who have been protesting for the last 14 days against the agriculture law. Instead of amending the agricultural law, it has been announced to intensify the movement of firm farmers on the demand for its repeal.

Demonstrations across the country and the siege of BJP offices have been announced on December 14, while the Jaipur-Delhi and Delhi-Agra highways have been announced to be closed on December 12. It has also been said that all toll plazas will be made free on that day.

In a press conference on the Indus border, the president of the Kranti Kisan Union said that the government's proposals have been rejected by the farmers' organizations. Farmer leaders said it would be considered if the government sent another proposal. He also spoke of the siege of BJP leaders and the boycott of all Reliance Jio products and malls. Farmer leaders said that if the three agricultural laws were not repealed, all roads in Delhi would be closed one by one.

Farmer leaders said the BJP offices would be cordoned off on December 14. There will be picketing demonstrations in many parts of the country. Farmers from other parts of the country are also being called to Delhi. Farmer leader Shivkumar Kakka said, "If we besiege the district headquarters in the states on December 14, the Delhi-Jaipur highway will be closed till December 12."

He also said that no decision has been taken yet on the next talks with the government. Farmer leader Prahlad Singh Bharukheda said, "There is nothing new in the government's proposal and we will continue to protest against the agricultural law."
