The year 2020 saw a good start to the Bollywood box office. Ajay Devgn's Tanaji made a record collection in Bollywood and proved to be a hit. Everything went well at the beginning of the year but the situation changed because of Corona. Cinemas closed due to the lockdown which proved to be bad for the box office.

The Bollywood box office has suffered a loss of thousands of crores due to the closure of cinemas till October. Many Bollywood films were to be released in the year 2020 which gave a lot of hope to the box office. That did not happen, however. Films of Bollywood legends and big banners were to be released this year.

According to a report, the Bollywood box office has lost more than Rs 3,500 crore in the year 2020. Last year, the Bollywood box office grossed Rs 4,400 crore from many hits. Bollywood earned Rs 780 crore in the first two and a half months of this month. Bollywood got this money because of films like Tanaji, Baagi-3 and Malang. In this, Bollywood will want to make up for the loss of the year 2020 in 2021.
