BJP spreads hatred in the name of love jihad, alleges JD (U)

- BJP slams JD (U) members in Arunachal

New Delhi / Patna 28th December 2020 Monday

Janata Dal United (JDU) national general secretary KC Tyagi openly accused the BJP of spreading hatred in the name of love jihad.

Last week, the BJP ousted seven JD (U) MLAs in Arunachal Pradesh. So the JD (U) leaders were offended. Thus, JD (U) was annoyed during the Bihar Assembly elections. The BJP had fielded Chirag, son of Sadgat Ram Vilas Paswan, with the intention of giving JD (U) fewer seats in the elections. Chirag broke JD (U) 's votes. As a result, JD (U) came in third for the first time in the last ten to fifteen years. The RJD party of Lalu Yadav's son Tejaswi Yadav came first. The BJP came second and the JD (U) came third. Since then, JD (U) leaders have been annoyed by the BJP's deception.

After realizing that it is not possible to run without Nitish Kumar, the BJP made Nitish Kumar the Chief Minister once again despite the JD (U) having fewer seats. However, Nitish Kumar was not willing to become the Chief Minister. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself persuaded him to accept the chief ministership.

The BJP government in Arunachal Pradesh was stable. There was no danger. Yet last week, the BJP ousted seven JD (U) MLAs. With this, the MLAs accepted the BJP's saffron. At the time, it was expected that the JD (U) leadership would be offended. On Sunday, Nitish Kumar said without stealing any words that he did not want to be the Chief Minister anymore. You make someone else the Chief Minister of Bihar.

On the other hand, JD (U) National General Secretary KC Tyagi said in no uncertain terms that if there was no threat to the Arunachal Pradesh government then why did the BJP need to oust our MLAs. The BJP was blatantly violating the rules and principles of the alliance. That is why Tyagi went ahead and openly accused the BJP of spreading hatred in the name of love jihad. Tyagi also said that the law of love jihad enacted by the BJP-ruled states (Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, etc.) was wrong.

In short, political critics came to believe that the BJP and the NDA were now in turmoil. The BJP was too impatient to form its own government across the country and was taking steps to form its own government by shifting parties here and there.
