- With RLP too, BJP's troubles increase
New Delhi 7th December 2020 Monday
Autorickshaw and taxi unions also announced to join the strike announced by farmers protesting against the agricultural law on December 8 tomorrow.
The Indian Peasants' Union, the only one affiliated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, decided not to participate in the Bharat Dam. Apart from that, most of the political parties also expressed support for the Bharat Bandh announced by the farmers.
The central government, however, made it clear that the law would not be repealed by any means. The BJP's troubles were mounting as the RLP, considered a BJP ally, also sided with the peasant movement. The Peasants' Union of India had made it clear that political parties were now joining the peasant movement and that this was no longer enough for the peasants.
As proof of this, the Congress on Tuesday closed. BSP, SP, DMK, Left, NCP, TMC, AAP etc. expressed support. Now the peasant movement had found a political color.
Meanwhile, it was announced by the players that more than thirty players will return their respective awards and prizes at the sports club at 2 pm today. Earlier, some leaders in Punjab had returned the Padma awards they had received.
