Army ready to face any situation with China: CDS Vipin Rawat

Amid months of tensions on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh, Chief of Army Staff (CDS) Vipin Rawat on Monday targeted neighboring China, saying the army was ready to deal with any situation with China.

"We are in a tense situation in Ladakh, and based on that there are some activities going on in China's Tibet Autonomous Region. Each country will continue to prepare to ensure its own security," CDS Vipin Rawat said. "I assure you that we Fully prepared to face any eventuality.

On the ongoing ceasefire violations by Pakistan on the LAC, CDS Rawat said that the other party (Pak) should be more concerned, we are fully prepared, he said that now is the time to look at the future of the war fought with technique, we There are enough security forces on the northern border to deal with any threat or challenge,

India and China have been at loggerheads over the LAC since April. China has deployed 60,000 troops near the Indian border in eastern Ladakh, raising tensions over the LAC in April-May to oppose Indian infrastructure. They also have large quantities of tanks and heavy weapons.

India has used all its strength to respond to any Chinese aggression. There, military-level talks are underway in both countries. The military commanders of the two countries have held 8 rounds of talks, and a ninth round of talks is also underway, however, due to China's maneuvering, no way has been found yet.
