Woman gives birth to child three years after divorce, Allahabad High Court orders DNA test

A surprise incident has come up in Hamirpur, Uttar Pradesh. Where three years after the divorce a woman has given birth to a child in Pierre. The woman claimed that the child belonged to her husband. When her husband has denied this, how can this child be his when he has not been in a relationship with his wife for three years? The couple, residents of Hamirpur, got divorced three years ago in the Family Court.

Following the incident, husband Ram Asare filed an application in the Family Court seeking a DNA test, but the Family Court rejected the application. The case has since reached the High Court. A single bench of Allahabad High Court Justice Vivek Agarwal heard the case and gave an important verdict. The High Court has ordered a DNA test. Which will prove who this child belongs to.

The High Court said a DNA test was the best way to prove whether Ram Asare was the father of the child. While the wife claimed that the child belonged to her husband, Ram Asare said that he had not had any physical relationship with his wife for three years.
