Will Mamta's supposed Shubhendu officer revolt? Amit Shah is feared to have killed some in two days

- Mamta is likely to get a big shock

There were rumors that Shubhendu Adhikari, considered to be the most trusted ally of West Bengal's defiant Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, was likely to revolt at any time.

There were also rumors that Union Home Minister Amit Shah had implemented a tactic to oust some Trinamool Congress leaders during his two-day visit to the state last week.

If a powerful leader like Shubhendu revolts, the Trinamool Congress would be in for a big shock. With or without Shubhendu, some other leaders, fed up with Mamata's stubborn and aggressive attitude, did not rule out the possibility of leaving the Trinamool Congress and joining the BJP.

Addressing a rally in Nandigram, Shubhendu did not attend the meeting convened by Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday. There was not a single poster of Mamata Banerjee at the Nandigram meeting. He organized the rally in defiance of Mamata. Towards the end of the rally he called Bharat Mata Ki Jai. Mamata never calls Bharat Mata Ki Jai.

Shubhendu is Mamata's most popular and most formidable leader. If he rebels, Mamata may suffer a great loss.
