Security forces killed two militants in Shopian area of ​​Jammu and Kashmir. A search was on if any other terrorists were hiding in the area.

According to a security spokesperson, 34 Rajasthan Rifles and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) troops rushed to the spot and warned the militants to surrender. In response, gunfire erupted. Security forces returned fire, killing two militants.

The two had yet to be identified. Security forces launched an intensive investigation into the possibility of another terrorist hiding in the area.

Meanwhile, according to information received by the Indian Army's intelligence department, militant training camps were once again throbbing in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir across the Line of Control. More than 300 terrorists were on the verge of entering the country. His mentors in Pakistan had instructed the militants to push as many militants as possible into the Kashmir Valley before the snow started falling and infiltration routes were closed.
