Security forces killed two militants in Shopian area of ​​Jammu and Kashmir. A search was on if any other terrorists were hiding in the area.

According to a security spokesperson, 34 Rajasthan Rifles and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) troops rushed to the spot and warned the militants to surrender. In response, gunfire erupted. Security forces returned fire, killing two militants.

Meanwhile, according to information received by the Indian Army's intelligence department, militant training camps were once again throbbing in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir across the Line of Control. More than 300 terrorists were on the verge of entering the country.
