The Chief Minister is Nitish Kumar, who is the Speaker?

-BJP has got more seats than JD (U)

-A meeting of JD (U) MLAs was held

Patna 13th November 2020 Friday

A meeting of Bihar's newly elected JD (U) MLAs, headed by Nitish Kumar, was held at 12 noon today. There is no doubt that Nitish Kumar will be the next Chief Minister. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself agreed to have Nitish Kumar as Chief Minister again.

But now comes the question of the speaker. This time BJP has got more seats than JD (U). Everyone knows that the BJP's hand-wringing was spoiled by the JD (U). Perhaps that is why Nitish Kumar was reluctant to accept the chief ministership again. However, Narendra Modi persuaded him.

In any case, one thing is for sure, this time JD (U) will not be in the role of big brother, this time the role of big brother will be of BJP. However, the BJP knows full well that it is not like Nitish Kumar. Going to annoy them, it is time to lose Bihar like Maharashtra. Now it remains to be seen whether the speaker becomes a BJP MLA or a JD (U) MLA.

Incumbent Bihar Speaker Vijay Chaudhary won the Sarai Ranjan seat again on a JD (U) ticket. This leader is considered to be Nitish Kumar's most trusted and close ally. Although JD (U) won ten seats less than RJD in the 2015 assembly elections, Nitish Kumar maintained the stubbornness that JD (U) should get the speaker's post and RJD's Lalu Yadav approved it. It will be interesting to see if the JD (U) gets the speaker's post this time and the BJP asserts its right. The BJP has not yet opened its pages. The BJP was just silently watching the happenings.
