Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the most popular leader on social media, with Twitter, YouTube, Google search topping the Sauna trading chart between August and October this year, with a brand value of around Rs 336 crore, according to a study.
On this platform, PM Modi topped the list with 2,171 trends, followed by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy with 2,137 trends.
Other leaders who have been trending steadily since then include West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, according to online sentiment analysis company Checkband.
Checkbrand, in its research, has conducted an in-depth study of online sentiment between August and October by 95 of the country's leading leaders and 500 social media celebrities.
According to the study, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has consolidated his brand score of 70, which is twice that of his nearest rival leader.
Who has how much brand value
According to the study, PM Modi's brand value is around Rs 336 crore, followed by Home Minister Amit Shah's brand value of Rs 335 crore, Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal's brand value is Rs 328 crore, based on engagement and followers on social media.
