The famous Urdu shire Munawwar Rana called Asaduddin Owaisi, the chairman of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul-Muslimeen and an MP from Hyderabad, a pig's cub and another Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

He slammed Owaisi, saying such leaders were ruining Muslims. Earlier, Rana had made controversial statements justifying the terrorist attack carried out by Muslims in France. Now it was raining on Owaisi.

Rana said Owaisi needed to get involved in the Bihar elections. This man came and spoiled the game when there was a situation where a grand coalition government was being formed.

It so happened that Owaisi had contested the Bihar Assembly elections and won five seats in the border areas of Bihar. The grand coalition and other parties considered Owaisi to be a vote-getter. Agreeing with the statement, Rana said Owaisi was a puppet of the BJP. He had fielded his own candidates to get more seats for the BJP in Bihar. Because of this, the votes of Muslims were divided. Rana also lashed out at the Muslims of Bihar and said, "Bihari Muslims, you should be happy that your votes gave power to the BJP."
