Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) slashes crop, excludes Kashmir issue from meeting agenda

Islamabad, Ta. 27 November 2020, Friday

The Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) has once again lashed out at Pakistan over the Kashmir issue.

The OIC has not included the issue of Kashmir in the foreign ministers' meeting. However, Pakistan is now trying to tarnish its image to save its honor. The OIC meeting is scheduled to meet in Niger on Friday. Kashmir is not mentioned in the agenda announced for the meeting. Which is also angry at Pakistan.

According to Pakistani media, the Kashmir issue is out of the agenda, even at a time when Pakistan's relations with Saudi Arabia and the UAE have deteriorated.

This is going to be the first meeting of OIC foreign ministers after Kashmir's special status expires.

However, Pakistan still hopes to get strong support on the Kashmir issue at this meeting, as the Kashmir issue is one of the oldest issues discussed in the OIC and the organization has raised its voice on the Kashmir issue before. A special group on the Kashmir issue has convened three meetings. So human rights violations in Kashmir were also discussed.
